Well, if it's fun then we should start working on it. ;) Seriously, I read
earlier version of JDO in detail and there _are_ some serious pitfalls. But the
current JDO version is much better than earlier ones. Anyway, we should really
try to understand the JDO arch before we start actually working on it.

The connector architecture is a generalized JDBC arch. There are commands and
responses. Both are very abstract but still RDBMS oriented. Like in JDBC, the
CA spec says nothing about the syntax or semantic of the underlying "language"
(SQL in the case of JDBC). So, in general is should be possible to talk to an
ozone server by identifying objects, calling an method and given the result
back to the caller. Of course this approach cuts off most of the ellegance of
ozone, where you simply call methods on objects, but again, it would help
people to find out what can/cannot do ozone for them.
