Hi Ozone developers,
while developing an Ozone adapter for the Prowler CMS to convert Ozone objects
from and to XML we stumbled across the caching machanism of the adapter. Each
adapter is able to cache the converted content of the adapted object (to avoid the
permanently conversion)
Today Ozone offers no possibility to get the date of the last modification of an
dedicated Ozone object. IMO, this would be not so hard to implement, b/c each
modification of objects will be done via dedicated (proxy) method calls.
So this modification date can easily be used to implement a strategy for caching
content in the Ozone adapter of Prowler. What do you think? Are there other use
cases for this feature?
