hiya,

actually there is a jdk1.2.x for freebsd.

its a port of the linux-blackdown jdk,
so you need linux emulation enabled.

ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/FreeBSD/branches/-current/ports/java/linux-jdk.tar

also hava a look at http://www.fresshports.org for new ports
