User account disappears

Hello:

When I set-up two databases on my server in two separate
directories with two separate ports, I get this strange 
problem:

When I shutdown and re-start the database, all of the data
in the database remains intact, but the user account 
disappears.

If I go into the adminTerm and type:
	nu myuser 1001
	q

Everything works fine and my data stored in the database
is accessible.

Has anyone seen this?  I am using Ozone 0.6 on Linux 7
with the Blackdown JDK 1.3.0.
