The only real docu we currently have is the Javadoc API reference and the
samples. I believe that sample code is the best way to get started with
something like ozone. However, we need good docu.... anybody? 

Did you check the samples? What particular information are you looking for?

In short: ozone is a mult-user system. You may access a ozone server from as
many client as you want - and the machine is able to serve ;) Concurrent
access is synchronized via pessimistic locking.

User have login and passwd. Objects have permissions that are similar to Unix
file system permissions. The creator of an object becomes its owner. The owner
of an object can set READ and/or WRITE permissions for its own group and for
"world".

The network link and the database files are not encrypted or something.
