Hmmm... the term is widely understood??? Reason, to be very honest, your
question about "query on private members" shows that term _is_ confusing. Even
because ozone does not adhere to ideas of ODMG, a 'standard commitee' you might
refered to.

Yes, this is possible. The questions is, is your API real OO?
