Transactions and locking

Hi all,

I am trying to understand the Transaction and locking scheme in more detail
in ozone. I have seen the ExtenalTransaction interface.
When a transaction starts, i think it implicitely locks the nodes. Now what
happens when another user tries to access a locked node. Does the user get
an exception???. Can he still have read only access.

Also is there a way to explicitly set locks??

Thanks
Rajiv

*grml* I thought I used and checked in Xerces 1.0.3? I will check this and
replace it if needed.

OpenXML is not needed by default. We use Xerces and Xalan by default
and these packages are included. You need the OpenXML package if you
want to compile source that use OpenXML.
