This weekend is rainy, so I got more time to work on it, today and tomorrow. 
I am still investigating the use of Ozone proxies in the existing level 1 DOM
in order to implement a Xerces 1.3.1-based persistent DOM code. 

If there are any DOM builder experts out there, I would appreciate any help.
