Security issues

Hi,

new to the list, I tried to find which security mechanisms have already been
implemented in the Ozone database. The only information in the archive is:

"User have login and passwd. Objects have permissions that are similar to 
Unix file system permissions. The creator of an object becomes its owner. 
The owner of an object can set READ and/or WRITE permissions for its own 
group and for world.
The network link and the database files are not encrypted or something."

Ozone State also says that security is under "To Do" section. Are there any 
plans to add encryption and digital signatures to protect the network link and
the database files? What other mechanisms are planned under "To Do"?
