I just added tools.jar to the classpath, and it got a little further through compilation, but this time with many 'Ambiguous class" errors. They seem to be caused by a class called LogWriter which is present in both org.ozoneDB.core and org.ozoneDB.util according to the error messages. It all works beautifully under Linux with the 'make' command. Regards, Graham Innocent
