Re: OpenXML: a good thing!
While I have worked on an XQL parser for Ozone, I am aware and support
the openXML project. I have contributed unicode parsing code to it.
The last time I looked the sources, however, the main author (who was
trying to use ANTLR) had hit the wall (the same spot in the wall I hit
with ANTLR) and the actual implementation falls far short of compliance
in many areas. I suspect that ANTLR will never be able to handle the
grammar. I tried SABLECC with no success either. (I am reluctant to
use JavaCC---not open source).
It would make me perfectly happy however, if someone else manages to get
the work done before I do. With open source, we are all winners.
