5 million objects are not per se a problem for ozone. I was able to handle 3M
objects on my 64MB notebokk without any problem! Of course this highly depends
on the strukture of the data, the app logic and its requirements.

No, I'm not aware of a real world app that handles that much objects with ozone.

Well, Neil, the only way to find out if ozone meets your needs and to finally
convince them to use ozone is a working prototype of your app. Without GUI,
error handling, fancy features - just the pure data structures and the most
important operations. This isn't a big effort and helps you to get a good
feeling when you try to convince them because you doesn't need to trust me
or anyone else but you will see it working yourself. I'm willing to help you
with your prototype, please contact me in private.
