The interface of the database will be the same. But you can connect several
ozone nodes to form a virtual server. The single nodes will exchange objects
in order to compute transactions as efficient as possible. That means objects
will go where they are needed. But all this should be as invisible as possible
for the programmer. So you could not stick a galaxy on one server. In the
worst case the galaxies will travel between ships :) An interface to specify
such things is needed. Do you know of such an interface of other OODBMSs?

But there a really tricky parts to develop such a distributed system!
Especially when it actually comes to distributed transactions or if the
network becomes disconnected and there are network partitions.
