Re: flagging object state
Instead of using either a syntax pattern or a comment pattern to set
something "for update", what about using
an EJB properties-type thing such that a properties file or something
else included in the object packages jar file contains the info. This
is more in keeping with where java is heading. EJB is going for an XML
inclusion so that it can store fairly elaborate information about how to
deploy the object.
